Child Welfare Squad

To ensure security and protection to all the students, the representatives of teachers, parents, social welfare personalities, police representatives and school management together formed a child welfare squad. It functions very systematically at Zion.

P.T.M.S. and Open House

Parent Teachers Management and Student Association (P.T.M.S.) is functioning very well at zion. To have a praiseworthy understanding among parents, teachers, and students, open house and class–wise parents meetings are arranged at well-planned intervals.

Help a Friend Zion

Help a Friend Zion is a project to extend financial assistance to the staff, students and parents of the Zion family, who are really in need of being helped, through an annual collection. Its motto is based on the thought “charity begins at home”.

Social Service

In addition to our co-operation with all the political, social, charitable, religious and educational organizations and institutions, Zion extends help to the needy students and parents.

Minority Rights Certificate

Having received Minority Rights Certificate, the school is eligible for all the rights of the minority communities granted by the constitution of India.

Evaluation & Assessments

The whole academic year is divided into two semesters consisting of six months each. The progress of the student is evaluated by conducting periodic tests and exams in each semester. Internal assessments are carried out as per the stipulations of C.B.S.E. Over all performance will be the basis for promotion. Open Days are conducted for the parents to analyse and discuss the performance of the students with the teachers concerned and to sign the progress report  after each assessment.

E-Banking System

In Zion fee remittance is easy because of the easy banking system. Parents can remit the fee in any branch of the Federal Bank.

Universal Prayer Court

Irrespective of caste or creed everyone can pray in the prayer court. The holy books like Bible, Quran, Bhagavad-Gita, and Mahabharata are kept on the same table.  Pupils can read any of the Holy books and can begin their day with a personal prayer at the prayer court.

House Visit

 Family plays a vital role in the personality development process of a child.  So, a teacher should have the proper information on the family background of each and every child in his/her class.  In Zion, the teachers visit the students’ houses and collect the information and try to understand their family background and to facilitate their teaching according to that

Tots Swaraj

Tots Swaraj is a separate wing for kindergarten. Play class, L.K.G. and U.K.G. sections function very systematically through play, games, rhymes, storytelling, songs, and audio-visual methods of teaching. English,Maths, Malayalam, Hindi, G.K., VE and other subjects are taught by loving teachers with parental care. Kids park, computer labs, digital classrooms, library and an auditorium are available for the little ones to grasp ideas easily and to grow smoothly.The hygienic condition of this wing is supervised and maintained up to the mark by the management itself.

Zion is blooming day by day. It has become one of the most famous institutions. Scholastic and co-scholastic areas are cared for and promoted very carefully. School Parliament

Zion school has a parliamentary board from among the students. Representatives from different classes are elected to the parliament by the general assembly. The parliament is headed by the president and prime minister. There is a council of ministers who are entitled to various tasks. The parliament meets once in every month and evaluates the functioning of the same, under the guidance of an in-charge teacher. The school parliament looks after the discipline, conducts assemblies and co-ordinates different  programmes.The school parliament enables  the students to gain leadership qualities. The students  realise the need of co-ordinated efforts to which success in every walk of life. The President or the Prime Minister addresses the students on special occasion. It is they who conduct and co-ordinate the variety of programmes held in our school.
