Art Competitions

Cultural competitions are conducted very systematically at Zion. Students are free to choose any item according to their interest. Each student can participate in various items and exhibit his/her talents. The winners are awarded with medals and certificates.

Expo

Young scientists of Zion are experts in making different working models, charts, glass painting, embroidery designing, flower making, jewellery making etc. Our students exhibit their varied talents in the “Expo” of Zion.

Class Magazines

In Zion students get golden opportunities to express their inborn and acquired  talents  through the preparation of class magazines. Pupils prepare a number of articles, essays, short stories, poems, cartoons, drawings, paintings, etc. Students bring out class magazines every year.

Universal Prayer Court

Irrespective of caste or creed everyone can pray in the prayer court. The holy books like Bible, Quran, Bhagavad-Gita, and Mahabharata are kept on the same table.  Pupils can read any of the Holy books and can begin their day with a personal prayer at the prayer court.

Celebrations

Celebrations are occasions of joy and happiness. They give opportunities to the students to develop their talents. Zion has different types of celebrations such as Onam, Christmas, Kid’s Day, Teachers’ Day , Manager’s Day, Principal’s Day, Birth Day Celebrations and the like.

Zion Band

       Zion has a well trained Band troop, to make the school functions more colourful and attractive. Zion troops are invited to outside programmes also.

Zion Kalagramam

‘MCBS KALAGRAMAM’, an international academy of music and arts, which is an official examination centre for London College of Music(LCM) affiliated to the University of

West London and a sub-centre of Kalai Kaviri College of Fine Arts Tiruchirapalli, is offering  courses in different Arts and Music classes at ZION . Courses offered are Carnatic Vocal, Bharathanatyam, Drawing & Painting, Tabla, Mridangam, Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, Western Violin and Western Dance. Admission is open for all.
