This Senior Secondary School run by the Emmaus Province of the Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament (MCBS) is really a gift to the High-Ranges. As a missionary and visionary Fr. Dr. Emmanuel Kizhakkethalackal was the instrument of God to begin this English Medium School. To provide English Education to the village people primarily and to the public at large, Fr. Emmanuel started Zion in 2000. Zion -Synonym of perfection – expects everyone to be excellent in English, which is a global language, and to become perfect in life.

Within a short period of time, Zion Public School became a glorious institution with its grand infrastructures and excellent staff. Now it is one of the best educational institutions, accommodating more than 1000 students from Kerala and outside.
